For additional information, visit us at www.wipro.com.Job Description\nRole Overview\nThis Lead Engineer Wipro role supports one of the world’s largest alternative investment management companies, delivering enterprise-scale End User Computing and Endpoint Operations. The role combines hands-on Windows and Mac engineering, SCCM, Intune, PowerShell, Citrix and endpoint automation with L3 support, application lifecycle management and compatibility testing to build secure, reliable and scalable workplace technology solutions. It also provides exposure to AI-enabled automation and agentic AI for scripting, troubleshooting, testing and continuous operational improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide L3 Support for incident/problem escalations from L2/L3.\nProactively remediate recurring issues by identifying root causes and analysing trend data to implement preventative automation and configuration improvements.\nStrong automation and scripting skills with PowerShell, including the ability to structure functions and modules.\nAnalyze incident, defect, and deployment data to identify trends, recurring failure modes, and opportunities to improve reliability and test coverage.\nCreate design documents to ensure automation patterns align with our SDLC.\nDevelop scripts for integration with third-party systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Active Batch).\nConduct compatibility and certification testing for desktop software and hardware.\nAutomate QA testing and identify and resolve conflicts with other MSI packages from commercial vendors and internally developed applications.\nTest new functionalities and enhancements for various applications, including COTS software, operating systems, Microsoft application suites, end-user COTS software, drivers, and patch enhancements.\nPerform end-to-end functional and regression testing, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and baselines.\nIdentify, log, and track defects found during testing within a shared tracking portal, addressing issues that must be resolved before production use.\nPossess a deep understanding of the Windows registry, group policy, file system, and security privileges.\nFamiliarity with ticketing and workflow tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience & Capabilities\n3-5 years of relevant experience, depending on role level.\nMust possess extensive knowledge and experience in Operating System imaging, scheduled task sequencing, and the creation of both physical and virtual Windows desktop and laptop machines within a designated test lab environment.\nStrong expertise in building Windows-based machines, including physical and virtual environments.\nExperience using AI tools to accelerate scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and test creation (e.g., copilots, chat-based assistants, and IDE-integrated AI).\nStrong hands-on experience with endpoint management tools such as SCCM and Intune.\nProficient in deployment to both Windows and Mac environments.\nHands-on experience administering and troubleshooting macOS, including packaging/deployment workflows and common endpoint management integrations.\nMust be flexible and willing to work in a 24/7 environment with varying shifts and should excel in a team setting.\nCommunicates ideas and thoughts clearly and effectively using both verbal and nonverbal techniques.\n͏\n͏\n͏\nMandatory Skills: EMM Intune.Experience: 5-8 Years\n.Reinvent your world.
