For additional information, visit us at www.wipro.com.Mainframe Developer\nExperience- 4.8 years to 8 years\n\nLocation- Chennai\nONLY Immediate joiners\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide end-to-end production support for mainframe applications, including incident resolution and root cause analysis.\nMonitor batch jobs and online systems; ensure timely resolution of failures and issues.\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.\nPerform impact analysis, code fixes, and enhancements based on business requirements.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams (business, QA, infrastructure) for smooth delivery.\nEnsure adherence to SLA timelines and quality standards in production support.\nParticipate in on-call support/rotational shifts as required.\nPerform data analysis and debugging using DB2 queries and file structures like VSAM.\nMaintain proper documentation for fixes, enhancements, and known issues. \nRequired Skills:\nStrong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS.\nGood understanding of mainframe architecture and batch/online processing.\nExperience in production support environment, including incident management and problem resolution.\nProficiency in debugging and performance tuning.\nExposure to job scheduling tools (like ESP or UAC) is preferred.\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).\n\nMandatory Skills: Mainframe.Experience: 3-5 Years\n.Reinvent your world.
