Ensuring delivery of services in line with agreed SLA’s, working with Customer Services, P&P and IT to ensure SLAs are achieved and issues are effectively managed and resolved in agreed timescales across Alpha, manual processes, manual payments and general ledger accounting.\nApplication of commercial and financial knowledge to deliver results to the Finance managers and relevant business functions. \nUphold the accuracy, integrity and quality of the assets, liabilities and P&L data being reported.\nEnsure departmental deliverables are produced accurately, timely and of requisite quality through appropriate co-ordination and planning of resources. \nResponsible for embedding a culture of financial and commercial challenge within and across the department. \nUnderstand the Risk and Control framework that Servaada operates applying finance knowledge and challenge to ensure tactical risks are identified, measured against standards, and escalated appropriately. \nDevelop effective relationships with key internal and external contacts and be seen as a subject matter expert and support for all other roles within the team. \nEssential Skills:\nComplete complex general ledger reconciliations and supporting accounting. \nEnsure accounting records are accurate and assets and liabilities reflect the correct position. \nIdentify solutions for balance sheet clearance to including, root cause analysis, end-to-end review, recommend required changes to cross functional models and short-term clearances. \nProduction of client, business and executive committee MI.\nDirect engagement with OSP’s or functional senior leads.\nProduction of policy accounting data fixes for submission of IT.\nCommunicates effectively, including written and oral presentation, engaging customers and stakeholders as appropriate to role.\nDemonstrates good organisation skills, with an analytical and methodical approach to work.\nAbility to work very well in a team or independently, consulting and co-ordinating others appropriately in the wider function and business. \nDesirable Skills & Qualifications:\nExperience working in a finance department or relevant qualifications. \nExperience of working within a regulatory environment.\nExperience in implementation of new financial systems and/or processes.\nExperience of system integration. \nQualified or in training member of a CCAB body or equivalent qualification or relevant experience. \nPersonal Attributes:\nCustomer-focused with a passion for delivering excellent service. \nStrong leadership presence and ability to inspire others. \nResilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. \nProactive and solution oriented. \nHighly organised with excellent attention to detail. \nStrong decision-making and problem-solving skills. \nCollaborative and supportive team player. \nCommitted to developing others and promoting a positive working environment.\nApplication of Individual Conduct Rules:\nStandard of conduct is reasonable under all circumstances relating to:\nMust act with integrity\nMust act with due skill, care and diligence\nMust be open and cooperative with the FCA and other regulators\nMust pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly\nMust observe proper standards of market conduct\nMust act to deliver good outcomes for retail customers.\nICR 6 missing!\nEqual Opportunities:\nServaada is committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace.
