We are looking for a passionate and motivated Java Software Development Engineer I (SDE I) to join our growing engineering team. As an entry-level software developer, you will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining scalable Java applications. You'll work with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to build robust solutions that solve real-world problems.


Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver features on time.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in software development.
  • Assist in debugging, diagnosing, and resolving production and non-production issues.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
  • Contribute to technical documentation as needed.
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in software development using Java.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Familiarity with core Java frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful API development.
  • Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data structures.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Internship or project experience with backend development.
