The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend applications, developing search solutions, and processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.\nBuild and optimize search solutions using Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Apache Solr, or similar platforms.\nDevelop REST APIs and microservices for search and data-intensive applications.\nImplement indexing, querying, relevance tuning, analyzers, tokenization, and search optimization.\nBuild large-scale data pipelines using Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or related technologies.\nProcess structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.\nOptimize application performance, search latency, database queries, and data-processing workflows.\nWork with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data-storage platforms.\nFollow engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.\nRequired Skills\nJava Development\nStrong Core Java and Java 8+ skills.\nExperience with Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, and JVM fundamentals.\nStrong Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST API, and Microservices experience.\nKnowledge of SQL and relational/NoSQL databases.\nSearch Technologies\nHands-on experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Apache Solr.\nStrong understanding of indexing, mappings, analyzers, tokenizers, and inverted indexes.\nExperience with complex queries, aggregations, relevance scoring, and search tuning.\nKnowledge of distributed search clusters, sharding, replication, and performance optimization.\nExperience integrating search platforms with Java applications.\nBig Data\nExperience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, or related technologies.\nKnowledge of Apache Kafka or similar distributed messaging platforms.\nExperience building ETL/ELT pipelines and processing large datasets.\nUnderstanding of distributed computing, partitioning, and batch/stream processing.\nFamiliarity with JSON, Avro, and Parquet.\nCloud & DevOps\nExposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.\nKnowledge of monitoring, troubleshooting, and production deployments.\nPreferred\nExperience building enterprise-scale search platforms.\nExperience with real-time streaming and data ingestion architectures.\nPerformance profiling and distributed-system troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of security, authentication, authorization, and data governance.\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\nKey Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch/Solr, Search, Microservices, Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Big Data, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP.\n͏\nAreas of responsibility\nGathering of requirements-Participate in gathering requirements for specific modules and ensure clear, structured documentation.
