To perform Preventive Maintenance on machinery and auxiliary equipment in the machining area, working autonomously and responsibly, and ensuring compliance with and adherence to the organization’s truth\nCurious - seek outside knowledge and input to test our thinking, challenging the status quo\nResponsibilities\nReceive shift handovers, review maintenance logs, and follow up on pending jobs, open work orders, and equipment conditions reported by the previous shift.\nVerify the operating condition of assigned machinery and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, shapers, and mechanical power saws, identifying abnormalities, wear, damage, and unsafe conditions.\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with established schedules, work orders, and applicable procedures.\nDiagnose mechanical failures, determine corrective actions, and escalate issues requiring specialized technical support.\nInterpret mechanical drawings, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, fits, and machining requirements.\nOperate lathes and other machine tools to manufacture, modify, repair, and adjust mechanical parts, components, tooling, and process fixtures according to production and maintenance requirements.\nSelect and properly use cutting tools, accessories, and measuring instruments to perform machining operations and achieve the required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.\nInspect manufactured or repaired parts using appropriate measuring instruments to verify compliance with drawings, dimensional tolerances, and technical specifications.\nIdentify tooling and component requirements, propose manufacturing or repair solutions, and contribute to operational continuity and reduced equipment downtime.\nIdentify and request the spare parts, materials, and consumables required to complete assigned work through the established warehouse requisition process.\nComplete assigned work orders, document activities performed, record materials used and conditions identified, and close work orders in accordance with established procedures.\nMaintain accurate maintenance logs and service records to ensure traceability of maintenance activities.\nHand over the shift to the next technician, communicating completed activities, outstanding work, equipment conditions, and risks requiring follow-up.\nKeep the work area clean and organized, following applicable safety procedures and preventing conditions that could cause accidents, equipment damage, or quality issues\n Requirements:\nBachelor's degree or technical career in machines and tools.\nSafety in work at heights\nSafety in electrical maintenance work\nSafety in welding and cutting work\n Materials and
