maintains and repairs machinery in the Rosenberg and Houston locations to ensure minimal machine downtime and maximum production efficiency.\nThe Maintenance Technician must exhibit the behaviors of Responsibilities\nInstalls, modifies, and repairs machinery and equipment.\nDiagnoses issues with systems including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.\nUtilizes available resources to meet customer requirements on time and within acceptable quality and cost levels.\nMaintains and repairs plant equipment to maximize equipment availability (uptime). \nEnsures completed work conforms to specifications, is performed professionally, and work areas are left clean of all maintenance materials and tools.\nEnsures facilities and machines comply with OSHA requirements and established safety and housekeeping practices.\nPerforms a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.\nFollows and update maintenance procedures as needed.\nCoordinates with vendors and technicians for the repair and installation of equipment.\nInteracts with vendors and outside contractors to obtain quotes and order materials within approved cost, quality and delivery guidelines. \nManages inventory of required spare parts and maintains records of tools and equipment distributed to team members.\nMaintains effective communications with all associates.\nAdministers the plant's Preventive Maintenance Program, including identifying necessary repairs and recommending measures to prevent machine breakdowns.\nMaintains responsibility and accountability for personal safety and the safety of others working around equipment.\nMaintains regular attendance and punctuality and works scheduled shifts, including overtime when necessary.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibility - None.\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociate’s degree, trade certificate or two (2) to four (4) years of related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nDemonstrated knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, welding, and fabrication systems and processes.\nOne (1) to three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.\nStrong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members, vendors, and contractors.\nProven ability to safely operate a forklift and maintain forklift certification, if required.\nAbility to read, interpret and apply technical manuals, blueprints, safety regulations, operating instructions, maintenance procedures and government regulations. \nAbility to prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance reports, procedures, technical recommendations and business correspondence.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Welding Technology, Control Systems, Industrial Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.\nThree (3) to five (5) years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.\nFluent in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\n Materials and Equipment Directly Used\nForklift, various hand and power tools, welders and cutting torches\nPersonal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes\nAdditional Information\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.\nMust successfully complete all post-offer pre-employment screening requirements,
