We are moving towards a new phase, and much of the focus will be on delivering source code management where configuration and governance can scale with shifting needs. The roadmap also includes extending the current artifact management to allow for new forms of collaboration.\nAWS is central to the technical environment, and the team mainly develops in Go and Python. The team also maintains frontend tooling built with Angular.\nMost of Cloud Tools’ users are Java developers, so Java ecosystem experience can help you understand the users’ needs and technical challenges.\nThe services come with 24/7 production responsibility. Support calls are very rare, but being ready to respond remains part of the role.\nYour Impact\nAs part of Cloud Tools, you will:\nOperate and improve proven and mature CI/CD tooling\n\nKeep shared services reliable, secure and efficient\n\nManage technical lifecycle and reduce unnecessary complexity\n\nDevelop and maintain solutions using a variety of languages and technologies\n\nWork with GitHub and artifact management\n\nTalk to users and turn their needs into practical improvements\n\nTake responsibility for quality, reliability and production\n\nHelp the team make sound decisions during a period of change\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for experienced Platform Engineers who:\nEnjoys working closely with users and colleagues across the company and communicates clearly and effectively.\n\nIs confident sharing their perspective, challenging ideas and staying calm when things go wrong.\n\nHas experience working with shared platforms, tools or services.\n\nIs curious and enjoys investigating unfamiliar problems and technologies.\n\nIs comfortable working with AWS.\n\nHas experience working with CI/CD platforms.\n\nHas solid programming experience and can work across different languages and codebases, such as Go or Python and similar languages used in backend or platform engineering.\n\nHas good knowledge of GitHub and understands artifact management.\n\nCares about quality and takes ownership beyond individual tasks.\n\nEnjoys working closely with the team in Gothenburg on a regular basis.\n\nFor external candidates, experience from a company-wide enabling or internal platform context is particularly relevant.\nIt Would Be a Plus if You Have\nExperience with Angular\n\nExperience with the Java ecosystem\n\nInterested in or experience in using Kubernetes\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL\n\nWhy WirelessCar?\nAt WirelessCar, you’ll have the trust and freedom to take ownership, share ideas and make an impact.
