Architecture at WirelessCar is a collaborative effort, and an important part of your role will be creating alignment and helping teams make sound technical decisions.\nYour Impact:\nDesign and evolve solution architectures for cloud-based digital services.\nWork closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, Solution Architects and Security Architects to turn requirements into effective technical solutions.\nGuide development teams in architectural decisions and help them evaluate technical alternatives and trade-offs.\nEnsure that architecture addresses important quality attributes such as security, scalability, performance, resilience and cost.\nCommunicate architectural decisions and their implications clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.\nStay close to implementation and help teams turn architectural direction into working software.\nContribute to the WirelessCar architecture community by sharing knowledge, developing best practices and learning from other architects.\nWhat We're Looking For\nYou are a technically experienced and pragmatic person who can move comfortably between the bigger system perspective and important implementation details.\nYou enjoy solving complex problems together with others and can influence technical direction without relying on formal authority. You are comfortable explaining why a technical decision makes sense, listening to different perspectives and helping a team reach a good solution.\nYou also enjoy coaching and supporting engineers and see architecture as something that is developed together with the teams - not something created separately and handed over for implementation.\nWe believe you bring:\nExperience designing and evolving cloud-native solutions, preferably using AWS and/or Azure.\nA strong background in software engineering and modern agile development practices.\nExperience designing distributed systems and working with areas such as APIs, integrations and service-oriented architectures.\nAn understanding of non-functional requirements including security, scalability, availability, resilience, performance and cost.\nProgramming experience in Java, Python or similar languages, allowing you to engage meaningfully with development teams and implementation decisions.\nExperience communicating technical concepts, decisions and trade-offs to different audiences.\nExperience working collaboratively across teams and disciplines in complex development environments. It would be a plus if you have\nExperience with Kubernetes, containerized platforms or similar cloud-native technologies.\nExperience with system or data migration initiatives.\nInterest in or experience with AI-enabled solutions, such as generative AI, intelligent automation, machine learning platforms or applying AI to improve engineering and product capabilities.\nExperience with data-driven, event-driven or analytics-oriented architectures.\nExperience with observability, DevSecOps, platform engineering or developer experience improvements.\nExperience with technical risk assessment and mitigation.\nExperience working with globally distributed development teams.\nKnowledge of the automotive industry, connected vehicles or large-scale IoT solutions.\nRelevant AWS, Azure or other cloud certifications.\nTo join our journey\n WirelessCar is always on the move, often into uncharted land.
