It’s where data comes to life. Research Associates work with our talented engineers to enrich WireScreen data with industry intelligence, Chinese market insights, and relevant supply chain risk information based on a rapidly evolving global economy.\nThis team owns WireScreen Insights, a fundamental differentiator for WireScreen and highly valued by our customers. Researchers curate these structured datasets of companies, people, and relationships by tracing ownership, subsidiaries, and affiliations across borders and jurisdictions. Collections can uncover risks embedded within ownership chains, investors, partners, and suppliers-for example, surfacing military connections-or provide insight into a company’s investments and involvement in specific sectors such as electric vehicle supply chains or the quantum industry ecosystem.\nSuccess in this role positions you to develop unique insights into global supply chains, and the connections between key businesses, governments & people powering the global economy.\nWhat You'll Do:\nCollection & Profile Maintenance: Regularly update and refine WireScreen Collections based on rigorous criteria and user feedback.\n\nData Pipeline & Quality: Partner with engineering to ensure data quality, monitor source health, and enforce accuracy guardrails.\n\nCustomer Support & Enablement: Educate customer-facing teams on how data collections are built and validated, and partner cross-functionally to scope and develop new collections based on customer demand and research capabilities.\n\nDocument Analysis: Analyze a range of corporate documents in both Chinese and English to verify and ensure data integrity.\n\nYou Should Apply If You ...\nAre fluent in English & Mandarin and able to read and interpret content across Chinese- and English-language sources.\n\nHave 2+ years of experience in investigations, corporate due diligence, business intelligence, forensic research, KYC/AML, or similar primary-source research roles.\n\nAre adaptable, eager to learn, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and bring a team-first mentality with a willingness to jump in wherever needed in a growing startup environment.\n\nCan manage competing priorities, move with urgency, and consistently delivery high-quality work.\n\nEnjoy deep, manual investigative work and know how to adapt your approach, think resourcefully, and pursue alternative paths to overcome investigative challenges.\n\nHave high business acumen, and interest in global trade, supply chain and corporate data.\n\nHave proven analytical skills and attention to detail, especially around identity resolution and data accuracy.\n\nHave strong technical proficiency and the ability to adapt to new tools and software swiftly.\n\nAre excited to join a collaborative, intellectually curious & low-ego Research team.\n\nWhat You'll Love About Wirescreen\nAt WireScreen, you'll do high-impact work that helps shape the global economy and power competition.
