Whether it is answering complex questions about the behavior of an API or acting as the first responder for a major system incident, you are the technical anchor for our partners.\nWe are looking for an API Integration Support Engineer to join our Integration Success Team and scale our servicing capabilities for the Wise Platform in North America. You will be part of a global, 24/5 team-spanning Austin, Tallinn, and Singapore-dedicated to maintaining the highest quality and reliability for our partners’ technical integrations.\nYour Mission:\nMulti-Channel Troubleshooting: Support our enterprise API customers across email, chat, phone, and video conferencing, jumping in to resolve critical issues in real-time.\n\nTechnical Deep-Diving: Develop a deep expertise in Wise API and SWIFT products. You will independently test and debug REST APIs, interpret system logs, and query databases to trace issues back to their source.\n\nIncident Response: Act as the calm, decisive first responder during major technical incidents, navigating high-severity escalations while coordinating with global engineering and commercial teams.\n\nKnowledge Sharing: Capture trends in partner issues and feed this data back to our product and engineering teams to drive proactive platform improvements.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside global teams to ensure Wise Platform partners have a seamless integration experience and industry-leading assistance.\n\n Must Haves:\n2 to 3 years of relevant technical support experience, including hands-on troubleshooting of REST APIs and supporting production systems.\nStrong understanding of REST APIs, including testing, debugging, and interpreting API requests, responses, and error codes.\nFamiliarity with JSON, web authentication methods, and API documentation.\nExperience using IDEs and version control tools to investigate technical issues.\nAbility to troubleshoot production incidents, prioritize issues, and collaborate with Engineering teams to drive resolution.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nNice to Haves:\nExperience with command-line tools such as Bash or Zsh.\nFamiliarity with log analysis and monitoring tools such as Kibana or Grafana.\nExperience supporting applications built on microservices architectures.\nExperience in payments, fintech, or enterprise technical support environments.\nBasic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.\n For everyone, everywhere.
