The FinCrime team has a global remit and works collaboratively with regional audit teams.\nYour main focus will be completing FinCrime audits at Wise. You will contribute to the planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up of audits, and make recommendations to improve governance, risk management and internal controls. Your responsibilities will vary audit-to-audit and will include contributing to the development of the audit test plan, owning the execution of testing for specific scope areas, and completing issue validation testing.\nThe role presents a great opportunity to focus on the development and delivery of audit engagements in a fast-paced environment, focussed on data-driven and innovative audit techniques. Strong knowledge of FinCrime processes is key to being successful in this role, complemented by experience in audit, assurance, risk, compliance or control testing. Knowledge of deploying data-driven or technology-enabled assurance to drive the internal audit agenda is highly valued, but this can be taught to the right candidate.\nYour mission\nSupport the execution of audit engagements per the audit plan, ensuring timely and high-quality audit outcomes.\n\nContribute to audit planning, including development of test plans, and take ownership to independently deliver design and operational effectiveness testing for specific scope areas.\n\nDevelop deep FinCrime technical expertise across regulatory requirements, risks and typologies, processes, systems, and controls, applying technical insight to elevate our audit approach.\n\nMonitor the implementation of Internal Audit recommendations and measure the effectiveness of the improvements.\n\nDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders.\n\nSupport the implementation and operation of the internal audit assurance framework, including development of continuous monitoring and automated audit routines.\n\nActively contribute to building a robust and self-sufficient internal audit team.\n\nThe role is London-based, but many of our teams are located across different office locations. You will travel as needed to meet your objectives.\n\nA bit about you\nSkills:\nYou take ownership of your assigned work, and propose solutions to problems.
