This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact onWise’s mission and assist business leads and teams in delivering a seamless employee experience throughout the entire ‘Wiser’ journey, and in turn growing as a people leader.\nThis role will report to our People Operations Lead.\nResponsibilities:\nWiser support\nChampion the People team’s ticketing desk with a one-team mentality by responding to queries in an efficient and customer-centric way\n\nProvide guidance to Wisers on our leave policies, ensuring a strong end-to-end experience\n\nManage internal transfers and relocation requests, ensuring all onboarding and offboarding actions are completed\n\nProcess all Workday actions in relation to the Wiser lifecycle\n\nEnsure all operational onboarding and offboarding steps are completed, working closely with our Workplace, UT and People Services teams to ensure those processes run smoothly\n\nOversee our immigration processes to maintain compliant operations\n\nMaintain our team's content on Confluence, ensuring information to Wisers is transparent, convenient, easy to remember and updated, and thinking globally as well as locally for process efficiency, alignment and speed\n\nSupport the Payroll team with necessary documentation and/or information needed to process changes (joiners, benefits, leavers, etc)\n\nProduce any required employment documentation (e.g. reference letters, contract changes, etc)\n\nSupport the team in resolving complex international remote working requests via our Mobile Wiser initiative, and escalating where required\n\nWider team/business focus areas\nReview and respond to audit requests to ensure operational compliance\n\nContribute and deliver on local and global cross-team projects and initiatives, maintaining a strong focus on the Wiser experience and embracing tech where possible\n\nKeep informed about local employment laws and working practices, updating our processes, policies and guidance as necessary to remain compliant\n\nMentor and cross-train junior members of the team, serving as a reviewer in our four-eye check processes to ensure team accuracy, and providing backup support when required\n\nEmbrace opportunities for growth by taking on tasks beyond your formal job description, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and professional development\n\n Qualities:\nKeen interest in a career focused on supporting people, improving their experience and delivering excellent customer service\n\nCan-do attitude and a positive customer-centric mindset\n\nAdvocate for our Wise values and shared services evolution\n\nStrong growth mindset with the resilience and excitement for change in a hyper-growth environment\n\nAdaptable and solution-focused approach\n\nEagle-eyed attention to detail\n\nPassion for tech and data, with the desire to embrace automation and other tech solutions\n\nCuriosity to learn and grow your operational knowledge and experience\n\nAble to manage time effectively by sequencing your tasks by priority and impact\n\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills\n\nAbility to deal with confidential information in a professional and compliant way\n\nSelf-aware and trustworthy, enabling you to collaborate well within your team and across other teams\n\nExperience:\nExperience working in a fast paced shared services environment and/or a People team.\n\n Additional details:\nLocation: London - No Visa/Relocation support\nFor everyone, everywhere.
