Max ease. Full speed.\nWhether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.\nAs part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.\nFor everyone, everywhere.\nMore about our mission and what we offer.\n About The Team\nThe Global KYC and Onboarding squad works to make onboarding into Wise safe, compliant, efficient, and scalable. Within that squad, Wise Platform Verification focuses on verification for Wise Platform partners and their customers.\nWise Platform Verification supports customers who access Wise through our partners. The domain spans different partner models, markets and operational routes. Parts of it are still difficult to measure and rely on fragmented or manual processes. This role will help the team build a reliable view of performance, identify the highest-value problems and establish better ways of working. When these flows are unclear or manual, partners can face delays, customers can hit avoidable friction, operations teams carry unnecessary work, and controls become harder to audit.\nThe team is building a more scalable verification model for Wise Platform: explicit requirements, better control monitoring, clearer operational flows, stronger automation, and partner-ready processes that can grow with Wise Platform.\nAbout The Role\nWe are looking for an Implementation Manager to bring analytical rigour and process discipline to Wise Platform Verification. You will use data to understand how verification works across partners, identify the biggest sources of friction and operational cost, and lead improvements from diagnosis through implementation and measurement.\nYour mission is to turn complex partner-verification problems into measurable implementation plans, trusted metrics, clear operating models, repeatable rollout playbooks, and automation opportunities. You will work across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Product Compliance, Risk, Partner Due Diligence and Operations teams, regional teams, and partner-facing teams to make sure verification changes launch safely, work operationally, and are measured after release.\nThis is not a coordinator-only role. You will create structure where it does not exist yet: map processes, define KPIs, identify root causes, challenge data quality, build launch scorecards, design operating cadences, and help move manual workflows toward automation.\nWhat you will own\nMap Wise Platform verification processes end to end, including partner models, control triggers, evidence flows, operational routing, RFIs, exceptions, and recovery paths.\n\nIdentify process and automation opportunities that reduce manual review, avoidable partner RFIs, misrouting, operational rework, and partner/customer disruption.\n\nDefine implementation plans for high-priority verification changes, including scope, owners, milestones, risks, launch gates, runbooks, training, adoption, monitoring, and escalation paths.\n\nBuild trusted KPI definitions, dashboards, launch scorecards, and weekly/monthly performance narratives that help the team make decisions.\n\nPartner with Analytics and Data Science to validate data quality, segment impact, size populations, measure outcomes, and distinguish true performance changes from reporting or process artifacts.\n\nPartner with Engineering to turn operational needs into implementable requirements while understanding technical constraints, dependencies, rollout paths, and migration risks.\n\nPartner with Product Compliance, Risk, and Ops to make sure process changes meet control objectives, remain auditable, and work for the teams reviewing cases.\n\nSupport automation and process migration work, including moving fragile manual processes and legacy workflows toward scalable product or platform patterns.\n\nLead root-cause analysis for operational issues and partner-impacting verification pain points, then track fixes to closure and prevent recurrence through standards, monitoring, and documentation.\n\nWhat success looks like in the first 6-12 months:\nWPV has clearer process maps and ownership for the highest-impact partner verification workflows.\n\nHigh-priority process changes launch with implementation plans, metrics, launch gates, runbooks, monitoring, and adoption tracking.\n\nManual review and partner RFI pain points are sized, prioritised, and converted into a practical automation or process-improvement backlog.\n\nPartner Due Diligence, Operations, and partner-facing teams have clearer routing, context, escalation paths, and feedback loops.\n\nThe team can trust its core operating metrics and use them for prioritisation, launch readiness, and post-launch learning.\n\nOperational incidents and recurring process issues lead to documented root causes, owners, fixes, and prevention mechanisms.\n\nLegacy process or service ownership issues are mapped and sequenced with clear migration or handover plans.\n\nThis role gives you the opportunity to:\nWork on one of the most important scaling problems for Wise Platform.\n\nBuild the operating system for partner verification across product, engineering, compliance, risk, data, and operations.\n\nImprove how partners and their customers move through verification, while keeping controls robust and auditable.\n\nTurn manual and fragmented workflows into measurable, repeatable, automatable processes.\n\nBecome an expert in partner verification, operational automation, risk controls, and platform-scale implementation.\n\n What we are looking for:\nYou have substantial experience in product analytics, data science, quantitative strategy or consulting, and have used analysis to change how a product or process works.\n\nYou are hands-on with SQL and comfortable working through imperfect operational data. You can define the unit of analysis, choose cohorts and denominators, validate data sources, size problems and explain uncertainty.\n\nYou can map complex processes, identify bottlenecks and failure modes, and determine which changes are likely to have the greatest impact.\n\nYou have led change across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations and Risk or Compliance teams - not only produced analysis or recommendations.\n\nYou are strong at structured problem solving and can turn ambiguity into clear plans, metrics, decisions, and follow-through.\n\nYou are comfortable working with data and SQL. You can define useful KPIs, choose denominators and time windows, segment intelligently, and explain limitations.\n\nYou have led complex cross-functional implementations involving technical, operational, risk, compliance, data, or partner stakeholders.\n\nYou can distinguish between a process problem, a policy problem, a data problem, and a product or engineering problem.\n\nYou write clearly and can create documentation that helps teams make decisions and execute.\n\nYou can influence without formal authority and stay calm when priorities, requirements, or ownership are unclear.\n\nStrong additional signals\nExperience in fintech or another regulated, operationally complex industry is useful, but not required. We care more about analytical depth, sound judgement and evidence that you have made complex processes work better.\n\nExperience with partner integrations, platform businesses, API-led operations, or B2B2x workflows.\n\nExperience improving operations through automation, workflow redesign, routing, dashboards, internal tooling, AI/LLM-assisted processes, or data-quality improvements.\n\nExperience with control monitoring, operational QA, assurance, incident analysis, remediation, or audit-ready documentation.\n\nExperience working with globally distributed teams or multi-market rollout playbooks.\n\n Base salary: £115-150K (based on experience & interview outcomes)\n\nRestricted Stock Units (RSUs) & a variety of other benefits:Wise Benefits\n\nFor everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders - without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.\nWe're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.\nInclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.\nIf you want to find out more about what it's like to work at Wise visit Wise.Jobs.\nKeep up to date with life at Wise by following us on LinkedIn and Instagram.","description_format":"text","description_chars":8598,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":["Restricted stock units"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United Kingdom","iso":"GB","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Money Transfer & Remittances","Currency Exchange & FX Payments"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-05T14:29:11Z"}],"liveness":{"score":22,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.482,"p_room":0.45,"age_days":35,"expected_fill_days":22,"reasons":["conf:6","stale_co","velocity","win:tail","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-02T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":172359,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/wise-principal-implementation-manager-wise-platform-verification","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/wise-principal-implementation-manager-wise-platform-verification.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-03T03:32:37Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3402,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1598,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-04T00:00:00Z"}}}
