This includes conducting market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and predict shifts in supply and demand.\n\nManage a team of 2x Procurement professionals helping them to navigate complexity through effective coaching and development strategies.\n\nStrategically partner with the business acting as their main point of contact whilst building robust relationships with stakeholders within the organization. Facilitate regular cross-departmental meetings to ensure alignment between procurement strategies and business objectives.\n\nLead efforts to achieve cost reductions and optimization of spend across categories. Utilize analytical and financial skills to assess total cost of ownership and budget impact of procurement decisions.\n\nEvaluate and support selection of suppliers, utilizing robust criteria for quality, price, and reliability.\n\nIdentify opportunities for consolidating suppliers, renegotiating contracts, or initiating new proposals.\n\nAssisting in the creation of risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions. Stay informed about political and economic environments impacting supply chains and support the development of contingency plans.\n\nStay up to date on initiatives aimed at sustainable and ethical sourcing to enhance Wise's reputation and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.\n\nAdvocate for and implement innovative procurement technologies and process automation to enhance procurement processes, increase efficiency, and reduce manual tasks.\n\nMentor and develop procurement team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.\n\nEnsure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations while promoting integrity and transparency across all operations.\n\nStay abreast of industry best practices and leverage them to improve Wise's procurement processes and strategy. Encourage creative problem-solving and new procurement solutions to maximize organizational effectiveness.\n\nThis role will give you the opportunity to:\nChoose your path to impact. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the financial services or the fintech industry.\n\nProven track record of delivering and exceeding commercial targets such as savings, supplier consolidation, cash management.\n\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence and work collaboratively across different teams\n\nAbility to advise, manage and report risks effectively, providing practical solutions to mitigate them.\n\nExperience with sourcing tools, market analysis and end-to-end procurement processes.\n\nDemonstrable ability to evaluate and summarise complex sourcing scenarios, communicating them in a clear and pragmatic way to different stakeholders and influencing with impact.\n\nProject management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.\n\nA get-it-done, collaborative approach to problem-solving.\n\n Compensation: GBP 89,000 - GBP 127,000 - yearly\nFor everyone, everywhere.
