You’ll be responsible for architecting solutions that leverage containerization, orchestration, and modern CI/CD practices while establishing integration strategies that connect our technology stack. This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to mentor engineering teams on cloud-native best practices.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nArchitecture & Design\n\nDesign cloud-native architectures using microservices patterns and container-based technologies.\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise applications built with TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, SAP CAP, Fiori, and SAPUI5 within cloud-native environments (SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, Azure, AWS).\n\nArchitect CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to enable rapid, reliable deployments.\n\nDefine and implement security best practices for containerized and orchestrated environments.\n\nEnterprise Integration\n\nEstablish and refine integration strategies across distributed systems and third-party services.\n\nArchitect, design, develop, and manage enterprise integrations using modern iPaaS platforms (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, n8n, and others).\n\nEstablish and design enterprise integrations across distributed cloud and on-premise systems, leveraging diverse communication protocols.\n\nEvaluate and recommend integration technologies, APIs, and messaging patterns.\n\nTechnical Leadership\n\nLead the evaluation and selection of technologies, frameworks, and platforms for new initiatives.\n\nConduct architectural reviews and provide technical guidance on design decisions.\n\nMentor and guide engineering teams on cloud-native design patterns, enterprise integrations, containerization, and orchestration.\n\nDrive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within teams.\n\nAdhere to and advocate for best practices, ensuring technical integrity, high delivery quality, and long-term maintainability of solutions.\n\nCollaboration & Governance\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders, project managers, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.\n\nDocument architectural decisions and maintain architectural standards across teams.\n\nRequired Experience & Qualifications\n\nExperience & Core Development\n\n8+ years of software architecture and/or senior development experience.\n\nStrong Java proficiency with experience building production systems.\n\nDeep expertise with Spring and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, etc.).\n\nExperience with relational and non-relational database design (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).\n\nContainers, Cloud & DevOps\n\n5+ years of hands-on Docker experience, including image optimization, registry management, and container security.\n\n5+ years of Kubernetes experience, including cluster design, networking, storage, and advanced features (Helm, operators, custom resources).\n\nExperience with container orchestration at scale.\n\nCI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).\n\nProficiency in at least one infrastructure-as-code tool (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).\n\nSolid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\n\nIntegration & Architecture\n\nHands-on experience with major enterprise integration platforms (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Boomi, webMethods, n8n, or similar).\n\nExperience with cloud-to-on-premise integrations and hybrid landscapes through various protocols (e.g., HTTP, OData, SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP).\n\nSolid understanding of API-based architectures, event-driven architecture, message queues, and enterprise integration patterns.\n\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture patterns and distributed systems.\n\nIntegration architecture expertise, including:RESTful API design and managementMessage-oriented middleware (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS)Event-driven architecture patternsData integration and ETL strategiesAPI gateways and service mesh concepts\n\nSecurity\n\nStrong understanding of authentication and security standards (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, TLS).\n\nSoft Skills\n\nExcellent communication and mentoring abilities.\n\nNice-to-Have Skills\n\nExperience with
