At Wishlink, you get to work in a fast-emerging consumer-tech startup and play an integral part in building the creator-enabled eCommerce space.\nWhat would you be doing?\nWatch Reels and YouTube videos every day & level up on your fashion sense!\nThis is a hands-on engineering role where you will actively build and write production code - not just manage or delegate.\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable batch and near real-time data pipelines.\nDevelop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark on Databricks.\nBuild Bronze, Silver, and Gold data models using a Lakehouse (Medallion) architecture.\nOptimize Spark jobs for performance, scalability, and cost.\nWork with structured and semi-structured datasets from multiple sources.\nDevelop reusable, production-ready data engineering frameworks.\nOwn data quality, monitoring, and pipeline reliability as measurable outcomes.\nCollaborate closely with Product, Analytics, and Business teams.\nParticipate in code reviews and production support.\nNavigate our current stack: Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake (Medallion architecture), BigQuery, Airbyte, and Power BI.\nWhat are we looking for?\nIf you are a content creator yourself or have worked closely in the social media space, we like you already :)\n3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, with a strong software engineering foundation.\nStrong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization).\nHands-on Python programming skills.\nHands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark / Databricks.\nSolid knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling.\nExperience with ETL/ELT and incremental data processing.\nExperience with the AWS or GCP cloud ecosystem.\nStrong communication skills - you can translate between data engineering and business/analytics stakeholders.\nGood to Have\nAirbyte, Kafka, or CDC concepts.\nDelta Lake or Apache Iceberg.\nAirflow or Databricks Workflows.\nDocker / Kubernetes.\nPerformance tuning and partitioning strategies.\nPerks and Benefits\nWe are committed to providing the best environment for you to thrive in.
