We started Wishlink in January 2022 when we discovered products on social media that we wanted to buy but could not (in some cases, actually did). We are based out of Gurugram. We have recently raised a series B round of $17.5M backed by leading global investors including Vertex Ventures SE Asia & India, Fundamentum and Elevation Capital.\nRole Overview\nAs a UX Designer at Wishlink, you will own end-to-end user experiences across our product ecosystem.\nYou will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Business Teams and Designers to identify opportunities, define experiences, validate solutions, and deliver high-quality product outcomes.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thinking systematically and creating experiences that drive measurable business impact.\nWhat Would You Be Doing?\nProduct Discovery\n- Participate in product discovery and problem definition.\n- Collaborate with PMs to understand user needs, business goals and technical constraints.\n- Challenge assumptions and bring user-centric thinking into discussions.\n- Convert ambiguous requirements into structured problem statements.\nProduct Development Research\nValidate concepts before development.\nConduct usability testing on:\n- Wireframes\n- Prototypes\n- Live products\nEvaluate discoverability, usability, comprehension and adoption barriers.\nWork with Product and Design teams throughout the product lifecycle.\nUX Design\nDesign user journeys, workflows and interaction models.\nCreate:\n- User flows\n- Wireframes\n- Information architecture\n- Interactive prototypes\nSimplify complex experiences without compromising functionality.\nDesign for edge cases, scalability and future growth.\nUser Validation\n- Conduct usability testing and design validations.\n- Analyze feedback and iterate on solutions.\n- Partner with UX Researchers and Data teams to validate assumptions.\nSystems Thinking\n- Contribute to and leverage the design system.\n- Create reusable interaction patterns.\n- Ensure consistency across platforms and products.\n- Think beyond screens and consider the broader ecosystem experience.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n- Work closely with Engineers during implementation.\n- Participate in design reviews and product critiques.\n- Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.\n- Support successful launches and post-launch optimization.\nWhat are We Looking For?\nMust Have\n- 3-7 years of experience designing digital products.\n- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product thinking.\n- Experience designing complex workflows, dashboards or multi-step experiences.\n- Strong understanding of:\n- User-centered design\n- Information architecture\n- Interaction design\n- Usability principles\n- Ability to translate user needs into elegant product solutions.\n- Excellent communication and presentation skills.\n- Proficiency in:\n- Figma\n- Claude\nGood To Have\n- Experience in:\n- Creator economy\n- E-commerce\n- Marketplaces\n- SaaS\n- Experience with research and usability testing.\n- Understanding of analytics and experimentation.\n- Familiarity with AI-powered product experiences.\n- Experience building or scaling design systems.\nSample Problems This Role Will Solve\n- How should creators discover monetization opportunities?\n- How can we simplify sourcing and product selection?\n- How do we improve creator activation and retention?\n- How should analytics be presented for faster decision-making?\n- How can shoppers discover products through content more effectively?\n- How do we design scalable experiences across Creator, Consumer and Brand products?\nIdeal Candidate\nNot someone who only designs screens.\nSomeone who can:\n- Understand business goals.\n- Understand user behavior.\n- Structure complex problems.\n- Think in systems.\n- Influence product direction.\n- Deliver experiences that create measurable impact.\nPerks and Benefits\nWe are committed to providing the best environment for you to thrive in.
