Forklift operators will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence and good hand-eye coordination.\nEssential Job Functions\nPackage finished product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).\nCheck purchase orders/ work orders to ensure that products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery.\nCheck items to ensure that the correct number of products are being assembled.\nAssists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.\nLoad the finished product onto the truck.\nUnload products from trucks, containers, and stock them in the designated area.\nResponsible for quality control. Ensure that no damaged products are sent out, and no damaged products will be stored.\nOperate within standard operating procedures.\nOperate with the forklift and/or palette jacks.\nPerform preventive maintenance on forklift and/or palette jacks.\nHandle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.\nSecuring loads to the machine before transportation.\nPrepare customers’ orders for delivery.\nPicking and wrapping orders for shipment.\nProvide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.\nOptimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.\nAdhering to safety management standards.\nOther duties as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Ability: Ability to use forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Must be able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under various time constraints. Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the warehouse environment. The incumbent should be able to follow written and/or oral instructions. Correctly follow a given rule or set of rules to arrange things or actions in a certain order. Require considerable and strenuous physical exertion so incumbents should be able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds. Ability to read, speak, and write in English. Physically strong, agile, dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions. Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance. Available to work extended hours.\nOther Working Conditions: Some Forklift Operators will spend time in the warehouse's refrigerated (Cooler and Freezer) section. Machinery operation requires using safety equipment including but not limited to steel-toed boots.
