This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale trade capture and reporting solutions supporting real-time and historical data processing within investment banking environments. The position offers hands-on opportunities in data engineering, ETL development, reporting optimization, and enterprise database performance tuning.\nEXPERIENCE, LOCATION, MODE OF WORK\nExperience: 5-7 years\nLocation: Mumbai\nMode of Work: Hybrid\nMandatory Skills (Must Have)\nStrong relational database expertise with DB2, Sybase, and/or Greenplum (5+ years)\nAdvanced SQL development, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning\nPython programming for ETL automation, data processing, and reporting solutions\nETL development experience using Informatica or similar enterprise ETL tools\nUnix/Linux and Shell/K-Shell scripting in production environments\nDatabase performance tuning including indexing, statistics analysis, and data modeling\nExperience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikView\nOptional Skills (Good to Have)\nHadoop ecosystem and Spark processing\nData mining and analytics experience\nInvestment banking trade lifecycle knowledge\nAgile/Scrum delivery experience\nJava and messaging technologies exposure\nProfessional Attributes & Qualifications\nEducation: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field\nLeadership: Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical workstreams\nOwnership: Ability to drive end-to-end feature delivery and production support responsibilities\nCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with globally distributed teams\nProblem Solving: Strong analytical mindset and database troubleshooting skills\nKey Responsibilities\nTranslate business requirements into optimized SQL queries and reporting solutions\nDesign, develop, and maintaindatabase objects, ETL workflows, and automation scripts\nPerform database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity improvements\nSupport trade capture data platforms for real-time and archival processing\nCollaborate with global stakeholders, business users, and technology teams\nDevelop Python-based automation for data validation and operational processes\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups,
