There are ongoing studies in the lab focused on both cancer or infectious diseases, including nucleic acid-delivered monoclonal antibody approaches. Responsibilities will include assisting and performing experiments using techniques focused on molecular biology, immunology, tissue culture, immune function assays, data analysis, and laboratory management tasks in support of different projects. Work involving small animals (mice) in support of the research into DNA -based vaccines and therapeutics is important. The successful candidate will receive adequate supervision and all training to safely and correctly complete research goals.\nA bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a science related field is required. The ideal candidate(s) will have prior experience in an immunology, virology, or molecular biology lab and experience working with mice.
