If your answer is “yes,” then you belong at Ambipar.\nCDL ASupervisor\nPosition Summary\nAmbiparResponse is seeking a motivated and organizedCDL ASupervisorto join our team.In addition to providing leadership and guidance, this positionis responsible forensuringcompliance with all safety regulations,manageproject documentation, budgets, personnel, andmaintainequipment readiness to ensure project profitability.\nPositionDetails\nReports to: Base Manager\n\nLocation: Onsite\n\nPosition Type: Full-Time\n\nFLSA Status: Non-Exempt\n\nPay: Hourly\n\nCompensation: Commensurate with experience\n\nTravel: Up to50%\n\nEssential JobFunctions\nSupervises a small teamof technicians and drivers performing industrial cleaning, environmental services, and emergency spill response, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste cleanup, confined space entry, tank cleaning, and site remediation\n\nProvides leadership, mentorship, and supportto field staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT)\n\nManageson-call response operations, assigning work and coordinating resources for both scheduled and emergency deployments, including availability for overtime and out-of-town travel on short notice\n\nEnsures safe operation of equipment and vehicles,overseespreventive maintenance checks, and ensures timely reporting of defects or issues\n\nAssists Driver Operators and Technicianswith safe operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vacuum trucks (liquid, dry, and hydro excavation) and associated tools and equipment\n\nLeads by example, actively participating in physically demanding fieldwork, including operating vacuum hoses, lifting heavy equipment, and working in extreme weather conditions, while wearing appropriate PPE\n\nConducts regular safety briefings, ensures all team members are up to date on required training and certifications, and enforcesall safety protocols\n\nMonitors and maintains housekeeping standardsacross offices, yards, warehouses, and vehicles to ensure cleanliness and safety\n\nUsesvacuum hose to remove sand, sludge, oil, water, and various other liquids and solids\n\nCreates and submits required documentation, including job reports, vehicle logs, timekeeping records, incident reports, and project documentation\n\nDemonstrates strong knowledge of environmental and hazardous material handling protocols and complies with all applicable safety guidelines and regulatory requirements\n\nPreformsother duties as assigned\n\nMinimumJob Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n\nMinimum of5years’ experience inenvironmental services, hazmat response, or a related field\n\nValid driver’s license without restrictions\n\nValid Class A CommercialDriversLicense (CDL) required with an acceptable driving record\n\nThorough knowledge of all federal, state and local guidelines (OSHA, CDPHE, CDH, DSHS)\n\nOSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification\n\nAbility to pass a DOT and Hazmat physical examination\n\nAbility to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments\n\nExperience working outsidein all types of weather conditions\n\nDetail orientatedwith a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment\n\nStrong organizational skills\n\nExcellentverbal and written communication abilitieswheninteractingwith customers, regulators, direct reports, and managers\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software\n\nExposure to hazardous materials and high-risk environments requiring strict adherence to safety protocols\n\nPreferred Job Requirements\nHazmatendorsement\n\nTankerendorsement\n\nPossess a valid U.S. passport or be willing to obtain one\n\nBilingual proficiency is strongly preferred\n\nWork Schedule/Work Environment\nThe standard working hours are 7 AM - 4 PM.
