Backed by a worldwide sales and service network, the company is renowned for its award-winning local service and support.\nJob Summary:\nSupport Field Sales, Internal Sales and Project Management in sizing and application of Material Handling & Auxiliaries product lines marketed by Wittmann USA, Inc.; assisting with estimating and costing as needed. Master the application of products marketed by Wittmann USA, Inc. for pre-sale and post-sale support to customers and colleagues.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nComplete all bill of materials for Material Handling Systems sold.\nBe able to support Material Handling System sizing.\nApplication sizing of beside the press material handling and auxiliary equipment.\nCreate and maintain estimate records for current and future use by engineering and sales personnel.\nIdentify current and future equipment requirements by establishing a relationship with potential and existing accounts. Provides product, service, and equipment information by answering questions and requests.\nCommunicate within engineering department for the generation/modification of system schematics and layouts for every single material handling system proposal and order.\nProvide overflow support to engineering department for flow schematics and layouts.\nProvide overflow support to engineering department for mechanical, electrical, and control related work.\nUse product knowledge to properly size and specify equipment for each customer’s application.\nDevelop OEM and Vendor relationships.\nProvide product development group with input for creating new products to enhance the existing product line. Make recommendations for modifying existing products to improve features, reduce cost, and/or extend useful service life. \nParticipate and in Auxiliaries seminars and selected shows and exhibitions where Wittmann products are featured and presented.\nMaintain a \"Customer Friendly\" attitude whenever dealing with internal and external customers.\nTravel 10-20%\nExpense reports due in professional manner, within the month (4 weeks of travel).\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nMaterial handling system sizing and application engineering. \nCost estimating and quotation support. \nProposal preparation and documentation. \nTechnical troubleshooting and problem-solving. \nSystem configuration and specification development. \nAbility to maintain accurate engineering and estimate records. \nAbility to support engineering overflow projects efficiently. \nStrong analytical and organizational skills.\nFirm understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts. \nUse Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Excel. \nUse of 2D and 3D drafting software, preferably SolidWorks and AutoCAD.\nDemonstrate ability to conduct product startup and training, and sales training for the Material Handling system product lines. \nAbility to cross-sell other product lines when needed.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering preferred.\nTwo to five years of experience, Plastics Industry or technical system/machine proposal experience preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to perform frequent bending, lifting, and moving of materials.\nLifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.\nGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. \n Compensation & Benefits\nWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including bonus/incentive opportunities, health and dental coverage, voluntary insurance, retirement benefits with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.\nSalary Description\n$60,000 -
