If you're an infrastructure expert with strong coding skills and a passion for cost-efficiency and communication, this role is for you.\nIn your day-to-day, you will:\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure with a focus on resilience, automation, and security \nAnalyze cloud expenditure, design cost-effective architectures, and drive FinOps strategies to optimize operational expenses \nDevelop tools, automations, and features driven by Security team requirements to ensure strong posture and compliance \nAct as a key technical focal point when engaging with vendors, external partners, and internal engineering/product stakeholders \nImplement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to enable seamless deployment processes \nEnsure full visibility into system health, performance, and operational metrics\n 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer managing complex, high-availability production environments \nProficient with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) and comfortable using LLMs day-to-day to accelerate scripting, troubleshooting and infrastructure work\nExperience integrating AI agents or LLM workflows into operational processes (incident response, runbooks, CI/CD, MCP-based tooling) - an advantage\nProven expertise in infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and Linux system internals\nProficient in programming/scripting with experience building operational tools and integrating security automation \nDemonstrated ability to design cost-effective cloud architectures and optimize operational cloud budgets \nCustomer facing skills - comfortable interacting directly with vendors, partners, and internal teams \nHands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation \nSolid experience with automated agentic CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (e.g., GitHub, Datadog)\nHands-on experience with AWS cloud solutions and managed services - an advantage \nExperience building, maintaining, or scaling high-volume/large-scale distribution environments - an advantage \n We're Base44, a newly acquired part of Wix, on a mission to change how software gets built.
