Come join our team and help us create secure cloud environments that allow even the best companies to move faster, all while having some fun!\nMinimum Qualifications\n5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python (or deep backend experience in Go/Java/C++) .\nExperience with cloud-based development (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud environment architecture).\nExperience delivering real-world impact on products affecting customers.\nThe ability to learn independently, to be self-driven and goal-oriented.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with microservices-based architecture.\nExperience with CI/CD and cloud infra tools -Terraform, CircleCI, GitHub Actions \nFamiliarity with cybersecurity concepts and threat research domains (e.g., detection engineering, vulnerability research, or malware analysis) \nDeep knowledge of OS internals (Windows/Linux) and networking. \nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nAbout The Job\nWe’re looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our Threat Research team under the CTO Office. In this role, you will be the engineering powerhouse of the research group, collaborating closely with security researchers to design and build cloud-native detection engines, automated platforms, and research infrastructure at massive scale. \nResponsibilities\nDesign and build scalable, cloud-native detection engines and backend services to process security telemetry across massive cloud workloads.\nCollaborate closely with security researchers to take raw attack concepts and POCs from ideation to production-ready systems. \nBuild and expand research platforms, testing frameworks, and automation pipelines that empower the team to test, validate, and deploy detection logic safely and rapidly.\nAnalyze, debug, and resolve problems across test, staging, and production environments, moving fast with a strong bias towards action.\nDrive engineering best practices, code quality, and security policies to ensure high reliability and performance at scale.\nWork with customers in response to requests and questions when needed.\nApplicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need forvisa sponsorship.Thisrole does not offervisasponsorship.\nWiz is an equal opportunity employer.
