Come join our team and help us create secure cloud environments that allow even the best companies to move faster, all while having some fun!\nMinimum qualifications\nAt least 3 years of experience in a technical writing role documenting complex technical products, cloud platforms, and/or developer tools.\nSTEM degree or equivalent professional experience (e.g., software development, QA, analytics, SOC, Incident Response, or IT).\nMother-tongue level English with exceptional written communication skills and a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise docs.\nThe ability to learn independently by exploring documentation, testing products, and diving into technical resources.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and/or B2B SaaS.\nDocs-as-Code Proficiency: Hands-on experience working directly with tools such as Git, GitHub or GitLab, VS Code, and markdown.\nFamiliarity leveraging GenAI tools & AI coding assistants such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.\nAbout the job\nWe’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our Product team and help spread the power of Wiz. If you believe in the power of clear communication, have a sharp eye for detail, and want to be part of a strong, can-do team - we’d love to have you with us!\nResponsibilities\nDevelop In-Product Feature Communications: Partner closely with Product Managers to write and publish roadmap updates, feature previews, release updates, and announcements directly in the portal.\nUse Docs-as-Code Workflows: Manage documentation source files using GitHub and Markdown, leveraging pull requests and automated pipelines to draft, review, and ship technical content.\nLeverage AI to Research & Draft: Use Generative AI tools as a force multiplier to research complex topics, extract context from engineering specs, and draft comprehensive documentation faster without sacrificing accuracy.\nCraft In-Product Guidance & Microcopy: Write concise portal page descriptions, UI tooltips, and guided tours to help users navigate features directly within the application.\nOptimize Content for AI Retrieval & Search: Structure documentation architecture, metadata, and markdown files so technical content can be effectively ingested and accurately referenced by both internal and customer-facing AI assistants and AI-powered features.\nValidate & Maintain Troubleshooting Content: Coordinate directly with Developers, Security Experts, and Support Engineers to maintain accurate troubleshooting guides and technical resources.\nApplicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need forvisa sponsorship.Thisrole does not offervisasponsorship.\nWiz is an equal opportunity employer.
