You will work at the intersection of software engineering and operations - building highly reliable, scalable, and observable systems that power our products. As a lead, you will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and champion a culture of reliability and continuous improvement across the engineering organisation.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain GCP-based infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager.\n\nBuild and optimise CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or equivalent).\n\nDefine and enforce SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets; lead incident response and post-mortems.\n\nManage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters - autoscaling, upgrades, network policies, and workload security.\n\nEstablish observability standards using tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.\n\nDrive capacity planning, cost optimisation, and cloud spend governance across GCP projects.\n\nChampion security best practices: IAM least-privilege, secret management (Secret Manager / Vault), VPC design.\n\nCollaborate closely with platform, backend, and data engineering teams to deliver reliable deployments.\n\nMentor junior and mid-level DevOps/SRE engineers;
