The ideal candidate has expertise across the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping, visual design, and usability testing. This role requires close collaboration with product, technology, and QA teams to deliver high-quality experiences aligned with business goals, technical requirements, and established design systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nUser Research:Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and expectations. Gather and analyze insights to inform design decisions.\n\nUX/UI Design:Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, interactive experiences, and visually appealing interfaces that promote usability and consistency.\n\nPrototyping & Usability Testing:Develop low- and high-fidelity prototypes, conduct usability testing, and iterate on designs based on user feedback and research findings.\n\nMobile Application Design:Design experiences for native Android and iOS applications, ensuring usability, consistency, and alignment with platform-specific guidelines.\n\nDesign Systems:Follow the existing Apolo and Sarape design systems. When new components are required, create and document them for review and approval by the Design System team.\n\nCross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with product managers, developers, QA engineers, marketing specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives.\n\nDesign Documentation:Prepare detailed design specifications, component documentation, and implementation guidelines. Maintain organized Figma files and follow established naming conventions and project structures.\n\nQuality Assurance & Iteration:Collaborate with QA and development teams throughout implementation, validate the final product against design specifications, and incorporate feedback through continuous improvement.\n\nAgile Delivery:Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives. Manage priorities and timelines to meet project deadlines.\n\nDesign Advocacy:Present and communicate design decisions effectively, explaining the rationale behind solutions to internal and external stakeholders.\n\nContinuous Improvement:Stay current with UX/UI trends, emerging technologies, accessibility standards, and best practices in mobile application design.\n\nMust-have Skills\n5+ years of professional experiencedesigning and delivering UX/UI solutions for real-world digital products.\n\nEducation:Bachelor's degree in Design, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nMobile UX/UI Design:Proven experience designing mobile applications for native Android and iOS environments.\n\nEnd-to-End Design Process:Knowledge of user research, UX writing, information architecture, wireframing, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.\n\nDesign Tools:Hands-on experience with Figma and FigJam. Familiarity with tools such as Sketch, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office.\n\nDesign Systems:Experience working with established design systems, reusable components, and design documentation.\n\nUsability Principles:Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, accessibility, and mobile design guidelines.\n\nAgile / Scrum:Experience working in Agile environments and actively participating in Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.\n\nCommunication & Collaboration:Strong communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to present and justify design decisions.\n\nEnglish:Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.\n\nAI Tooling Proficiency:Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation.
