If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the aviation industry, we welcome you to explore our job opportunities and become a part of our success story.\nWizz Management Trainee - General Procurement\nBased in Budapest\nAbout the General Procurement department:\nThe procurement function is separated into two teams within Wizz Air - technical procurement and general procurement.\nThe General Procurement department offers procurement and service contract management related support to the operation of the airline, while reporting to the Head of General Procurement of Wizz Air Group. The projects managed by the General Procurement team includes tendering a variety of indirect goods and services, such as agreements for Wizz Air marathons or other marketing campaigns, IT-related products, and high-complexity, revenue generating services, among others. The primary focus of the General Procurement Trainee role is the administrational support of the running projects led by the Procurement Managers.\nThe successful candidate will support and ensure that all procurement processes are carried out according to the company’s Procurement Policy with the guidance of the Procurement Managers. Important part of the role is managing all stages of competitive provider selection processes (Tenders). These stages include internal need assessments, Request for Proposal formulations, project management, financial assessment and risk analysis, provider selection, contract negotiation and decision paper preparation.\nManaging the company’s contract inventory and filing systems are also part of the responsibilities, in order to ensure the updated and accurate contract handling of the Company.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMarket Research: Identify and evaluate potential providers through thorough market research and analysis.\n\nProvider Communication: Handle queries and maintain professional communication with external providers.\n\nFinancial Evaluation: Compile financial calculations and build Excel models to support proposal assessments.\n\nDeliverables Preparation: Create presentation materials, executive summaries, and other project documentation.\n\nCompliance Support: Ensure procurement processes follow internal approval procedures and company policies.\n\nContract Management: Manage executed contracts and maintain an up-to-date contract inventory and filing system.\n\nProcess Improvement: Support the development and enhancement of internal procedures and automation tools.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nFluent in English\n\nCurrently enrolled at a Hungarian university with active student status until at least January 2027\n\nGraduating within two years\n\nAvailable to work at least 20 hours per week\n\nStrong MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint)\n\nPrevious traineeship experience is a plus\n\nInterest in finance, strategy and aviation\n\nDetail-oriented with strong communication skills\n\nA team player with a \"work hard, play hard\" approach\n\nAmbitious, eager to learn and grow, and looking at Wizz Air as a career opportunity\n\nWhen applying, please only provide valid information regarding your educational background and certificates, as the original documents will be requested during the hiring process.\nWe look forward to meeting you and learning more about your skills and experience.
