If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the aviation industry, we welcome you to explore our job opportunities and become a part of our success story.\nMOC Duty Engineer\nBased in Budapest\nPurpose of the role\nThe MOC Duty Engineer provides real-time expert guidance to Wizz Air pilots on MEL dispatch and technical troubleshooting while coordinating maintenance activities to ensure compliance and minimize operational disruptions.\nResponsibilities\nProvide immediate real-time advice and guidance to Wizz Air pilots on MEL dispatch and technical troubleshooting \nAct as the primary interface between the maintenance department and flight crew \nManage the AOG recovery process, including initiating and following up on AOG spares requests \nEnsure compliance with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements \nMonitor MEL/CDL/critical deferred defects across the fleet and coordinate plans for rectification within allowed time limits \nTrack and analyze repetitive defects across the fleet, liaising with flight crew and maintenance providers \nLiaise with maintenance providers to address technical issues and ensure resources are located for non-scheduled defects \nObtain approved data from TC holder, STC holder, or Part 21 DO for non-standard aircraft damage or intensive troubleshooting \nWork with the Operations Control Centre (OCC) to update maintenance plans to minimize schedule disruptions \nExperience\n3-5+ years of relevant work experience with 2+ years of experience in a Part-145 or Part-M approved organization\nHard skills\nThorough knowledge of Part-145 and Part-M regulations, including Subpart I \nThorough understanding of CAME and MOE \nGood knowledge of AMOS and MS Office \nEducation\nAircraft Technical Education such as EASA Part 66 Cat B1.1 LAME (A320 CEO and NEO) \nA320FAM CEO/NEO type training (Level III) (desired) \nA330 training (advantage) \nFuel Tank Safety training, EWIS training, and Human Factors training \nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (advantage) \nLanguage\nFluent English (both written and spoken)\nSkills and competencies\nStrong troubleshooting and technical advisory skills \nExcellent communication and coordination abilities \nProactive and solution-oriented mindset \nWhen applying, please only provide valid information regarding your educational background and certificates, as the original documents will be requested during the hiring process.\nWe look forward to meeting you and learning more about your skills and experience.
