Developing financial forecasts for potential new routes and bases\nAssessing and interpreting market, economic and industry trends and the impact on route choice\nAssessing competition in terms of strategic plans, capacity changes, strengths / weaknesses and recommending actions based on the risks and opportunities\nManaging the airport mix to ensure it does not exceed budgeted costs\nClosely working together with other areas:\nWith Scheduling and Slots team on projects related to new aircraft deployments and seasonal loadings to ensure effective and successful schedule design\nWith the Revenue Management team and Airport Development teams to determine new opportunities as well as amendments to existing routes, frequencies and airports\nWith Government affairs team to assess and unlock designations and traffic rights for new market developments\nBuilding relationships with airports and third parties (regions, tourism bodies, Civil Aviation Authorities etc.)\nTo be successful in the role he/she will need to continuously look for improvements and developments in the current tools and processes of Network area. Therefore an innovative, process-driven mindset with strong technical skills is essential.\nRequirements:\nCompleted university degree in business, economics or other numerical subject\nAt least 1-3 years of experience in the aviation industry, either of network, revenue management, commercial planning, strategy, management consulting or alternatively in an analytical role\nExcellent numerical and problem solving skills\nGood understanding of core economic concepts and principles\nBusiness mindset and ability to synthesize information into recommendations\nStrong sense of business ownership and accountability for own portfolio\nA highly motivated, proactive individual\nAbility to work in fast paced environment\nAbility to work in team and also independently\nAdvanced Excel skills\nFluent spoken and written English\nOpenness to live and work in Budapest, Hungary (relevant permit can be obtained for successful applicants)\nLimited travel required\nWhen applying, please only provide valid information regarding your educational background and certificates, as the original documents will be requested during the hiring process.\nWe look forward to meeting you and learning more about your skills and experience.
