Essential Duties and Responsibilities\nMaintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards, and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, including Hazardous Energy Control Procedures (HECP) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nCommunicate directions and specifications verbally and in writing to team members.\nDemonstrate high quality work, performed with limited repeat repairs and within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).\nDemonstrate ability to aid and train other technicians in repairs and WM procedures and policies.\nUse time effectively; prevent irrelevant issues or distractions from interfering with work completion.\nDocument Work and Parts Usage: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks. Record parts usage, labor hours, and diagnostic findings utilizing fleet maintenance software program.\nTest and Adjust Systems: Test vehicle systems and components to ensure proper functionality and alignment. Adjust settings, calibrate sensors, and perform fine-tuning as necessary to optimize performance and efficiency.\nDiagnose Mechanical Issues: Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical problems and malfunctions in vehicles, engines, and equipment. Use specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues and determine the most effective repair solutions.\nComplete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.\nRepair and Replace Components: Conduct repairs and replacements on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, electrical systems, and other mechanical components. Follow manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines to ensure quality repairs and optimal performance.\nMaintain Tools and Equipment: Properly maintain and care for tools, equipment, and shop facilities to ensure they are in good working condition. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to promote a safe and efficient work environment.\nProvide Support: Collaborate with other technicians, mechanics, and supervisors to troubleshoot complex issues and share knowledge and expertise.
