You’ll be at the centre of our daily transport operations, connecting customers, drivers and operational teams to ensure services run safely, efficiently and on time.\nNo two days will be the same. You’ll coordinate daily transport activities, respond to unexpected changes and use operational data to improve routes, productivity and customer outcomes.\nKey responsibilities\nCoordinating between customer service, operations and drivers to deliver reliable customer service.\nMonitoring daily routes and responding quickly to missed, delayed or rescheduled jobs.\nReviewing and improving route sequencing to increase efficiency and reduce fuel use.\nIdentifying system or route issues and ensuring information remains accurate.\nCommunicating with customers about delays or service changes.\nMonitoring unserviced, rolled and rejected jobs and helping resolve issues.\nReviewing operational documents, run sheets, weigh dockets and system information.\nSupporting reporting, data entry, purchase orders, weighbridge lodgements and end-of-month tasks.\nContributing to improvements across operational systems and processes.\n What you’ll need\nYou’re calm under pressure, confident communicating with different people and comfortable making decisions when plans change.\nExperience in customer service, coordination, administration or a similar operational role.\nTransport, logistics or despatch experience would be an advantage.\nExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong organisation and time-management skills.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail.\nConfidence learning new technology and specialist systems.\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.\nAn analytical mindset and the ability to use system information to improve efficiency.\nExperience with systems such as Elemos, Salesforce, ERoad or JDE would be beneficial.\nA strong commitment to health, safety and doing things
