Job Summary\nThis role is responsible for Onboarding, Developing, Coaching, Mentoring and Performance Management of all drivers and helpers reporting into this manager. Establish and maintain positive relationships with all frontline employees. This role spends the majority of day in the field with frontline employees across the Upper Midwest Market Area.\nII. Essential Duties and Responsibilities\nOnboarding: Ensuring new frontline employees have tools, instruction, and feedback for successful daily duties \nMeet with new frontline employees daily to ensure consistent communication and support of onboarding\n\nDeveloping:Provide timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees. \nRegular review of best practices to enhance daily performance \nFocus on understanding and progress of frontline employee career goals\n\nCoaching: Identify and address improvement opportunities and collaborate with frontline employees to ensure continued success \nActively practice and seek feedback on coaching conversations.\n\nMentoring: Lead by example to ensure safety practices are paramount with each employee \nTeaching and developing an understanding of the WM Way\n\nPerformance Management:Conducts Root Cause Investigations for all injuries and incidents, ensuring consistent discipline and retraining. \nDocuments and maintains records required by regulatory agencies such as the Department of Transportation. \nReviews and audits documentation related to route operations on a daily basis (e.g., DVIRs, driver time and attendance, open tickets), following up where appropriate.\n\nVisits customers and customer sites to evaluate and resolve safety issues, seeking service alternatives where appropriate.\nIII. Qualifications\nA. Required Qualifications\nAssociate's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree;\nHigh School Diploma or GED (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant work experience.\n2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement) \nAbility and willingness to travel 50%, including overnights\nMust be at least 18 years of age \nLegally eligible to work in the country where the position is located\nValid Driver's License \nB.
