You will also assist with finance projects and their implementation, as well as participate in continuous system/ process improvement activities. You will assist to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures where necessary, and will assist to report, analyze and ensure the integrity of all financial information, including maintaining the system of accounts, checking invoices for payment, following cash flow position, and keeping records on all company transactions.\nYou will be responsible for the preparation of regulatory returns and surveys; and ensuring adherence to new regulatory requirements. You will perform the reconciliation of accounts, as required and will prepare the accrual journal for goods/ services received without an invoice and recurring expenses, as well as ad-hoc entries for month/ year end close. You will prepare the monthly BAS returns and assist in the preparation of other tax reports. You will also perform the year-end closing process and make provisions as deemed necessary.\nYou will work and liaise with the various functions, including the branches in Asia and the Head Office, and will coordinate with internal auditors for operational audits as and when necessary. You will also coordinate and liaise with external auditors to perform financial and operational audits, as well as any other duties/ tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant.\nPre-requisites\nCA/ CPA qualified\nMinimum 5 years of work experience, with a financial services background is essential\nPrevious regulatory reporting (APRA) experience is essential\nAble to produce accurate financial and regulatory reports, as well as meet deadlines\nAble to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables\nExcellent attention to detail\nOrganized and methodical\nProficient in MS Excel - Intermediate to Advanced\nSubmit your application to  quoting the Job Title.\nYour interest will be treated in strict confidence.\nData collected will be used for recruitment purposes only.
