FX Product Manager

You will manage the Private Banking FX Product & Advisory platform and own the FX P/L, as well as provide secondary support to the Structured Products business.
You will drive the product strategy on the larger FX business platform and provide advice to Client Advisors with executable product ideas to drive performance.
As Project Manager and owner for all FX related projects, you will work with all the relevant stakeholders to coordinate, facilitate discussions, resolve issues, systems capability, and manage the end-to-end process and life cycle of FX related products, as well as all client-facing documents. You will focus on robustness, efficiency, control and compliance for the platform.
You will package route to market executable ideas with inputs from Research; Industry Intelligence and ground feedback; and current books.
You will drive investment themes and product focus, giving colour and depth to the investment books. You will provide the frontline with actionable focus to manoeuvre the markets and support from research.
As the recognized authority on FX within the bank, you will provide solutions for client’s FX requests and will educate Client Advisors and team members on FX.
You will provide Investment Consultants and RMs with trading ideas, market information and sales tools. You will provide inputs on FX for internal and external publications and develop marketing materials. You will also make timely actionable calls in relation to market and books, and help the frontline to manage clients.
You will set up the access to the full range of FX offerings and manage relationships with the major counterparties and key market players.
You will ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and the bank’s product development and management policies. You will ensure all products are reflected correctly in the bank’s books.
You will support the development of MIS and post transaction reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and will support investment and product performance monitoring.
You will work with the team members to ensure adequate coverage at all times, and work with related parties to drive policy enhancements.
Pre-requisites
- Tertiary educated with at least 10 years of relevant work experience
- Possess strong knowledge of FX analysis and markets
- Good experience in FX sales, advisory and managing platforms
- Possess end-to-end knowledge of product cycle and understand financial markets and key investment concepts
- Good understanding of portfolio construction and risk management concepts
- Possess some project management experience, in owning and/ or driving projects
- Possess some experience in systems and process engineering/ handling
- Some exposure or knowledge in Structured Products is preferred
- Possess knowledge of legal & regulatory requirements in banking
- Strong in Mandarin to work with North Asian clients and stakeholders
- CACS certified
