There are many ways to get involved, from Employee Resource Groups to local outreach.\nHere’s the Gist:\nAs a member of the Global Materials Operations Equipment team, the person in this role will be responsible for performing equipment startup, modifications, upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance on production and R&D systems. This role will interact directly with process engineering and other groups to meet department and Wolfspeed goals. Successful candidates will have a strong team mentality and strong communication skills. Candidates working in this area must exhibit and mandate safe working practices. This role will also be responsible for a diverse mixture of activities with a strong emphasis on hands-on mechanical assembly, high vacuum systems, and light electrical work. Minimum requirements at least 2 years CMP experience on the Applied Materials Mirra platform.\nBoth day and night shift opportunities are available.\nThe Day-to-Day:\n· Utilize troubleshooting skills to solve complex equipment mechanical, electrical and pneumatic problems\n· Perform preventative and routine equipment maintenance tasks (i.e. cleaning, calibration, or routine service)\n· Utilize the computerized maintenance management systems for inventory control and work scheduling\n· Handle gases and chemicals to replenish system resources.\n· Provide communication to all support team members by following proper escalation procedures\nThis Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):\n· Associates degree in EE or military equivalent\n· Manufacturing experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry\n· Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude\n· Ability to work 12 hours shifts in a fast-paced environment\n· A team player mentality\n· Flexibility in your work schedule and the ability to work overtime on short notice\n· Ability to lift 50lbs to chest height\n· Ability to push and pull 50lbs\n· Ability to stand 8 or more hours per shift\n· Ability to periodically kneel and bend\n· Ability to climb ladders and stairs\nAt least 2 years CMP experience on the Applied Materials Mirra platform.\nThis role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.\nThis role requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.\nTo put it legally -
