In your role as an IT and OpEx Controller, you will support Wolfspeed’s Corporate FP&A organization, partnering directly with IT and business leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational performance. This high-visibility role provides financial insights and analysis that support strategic decision-making while helping to improve processes, enhance financial controls, and drive business performance across a fast-paced, multinational technology company.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport IT and wider leadership teams through annual budgeting and periodic forecast cycles\nManage the month end process from preparing journals, tracking and analysis of expenses against forecast and budget\nValidate vendor invoices and purchase requisitions, ensure accurate cost allocation and coding, and support month-end accruals and close activities\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies and financial procedures.\nConduct ad hoc analysis and create executive-level presentations for various Senior Leadership Team meetings\nSupport additional consolidations for the organization including, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews\nEstablish review cadence with key budget owners and build relationships with the aim of enhancing department processes and output quality\nIdentify strategic opportunities to improve the Company’s operational and financial performance, provide analysis to support those recommendations, and work to implement necessary changes to achieve success\nOpportunities will exist to support other assigned tasks in other areas as business needs change\nRequired Qualifications\nBS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting\n6+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance roles\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills\nStrong analytical and organizational skills\nExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)\nCollaborative problem-solver\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nProactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach\nPower BI experience preferred\nExperience in Overhead cost management for a Global Company preferred\nExperience in IT cost management desirable\nExperience semiconductor industry or a manufacturing environment\nWhy Wolfspeed?\nAt Wolfspeed, we believe the most meaningful work happens when innovation and purpose come together.
