We’re a purpose-driven, fast-growing team dedicated to creating thriving, inclusive workplace cultures - and we’re looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to help us scale our cloud infrastructure globally.\nObjectives\nThe Senior DevOps Engineer will:\nArchitect, build, and maintain Woliba’s AWS infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and reliability.\nLead automation initiatives for CI/CD, configuration management, and observability.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment efficiency, infrastructure performance, and system resilience.\nTake ownership of DevOps best practices, ensuring consistency across development and production environments.\nAct as a subject matter expert for AWS and DevOps practices within the team.\nDeliverables\nWithin the first 6-12 months, success in this role will be measured by:\n1. Infrastructure Reliability & Performance\nDesign and maintain a highly available AWS architecture using EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS (Aurora), and ALB.\nOptimize networking, storage, and DNS configurations for low latency and high uptime.\nImplement infrastructure monitoring, alerts, and auto-scaling.\n2. Automation & CI/CD\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins.\nDefine and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation.\nAutomate application deployments, backups, and environment provisioning.\n3. Security & Compliance\nApply AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, VPC configurations, and network ACLs.\nImplement secrets management, encryption, and patching protocols.\nCollaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with data protection and security standards.\n4. Observability & Incident Response\nDeploy and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus).\nEstablish clear runbooks and incident management procedures.\nPerform root cause analyses and drive continuous reliability improvements.\n5.
