Your role:As our Fullstack Developer with a backend focus, you will be a core technical contributor to Woliz’s product infrastructure. Your mission is to design and build robust, scalable systems that power our platform, support our partners, and drive our growth across web and mobile environments.
Your main responsibilities:
Backend Development: Design and develop server-side logic using Node.js, PHP, and Python, ensuring high performance and reliability in production.
Database Management: Architect and manage relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), with a focus on data integrity and query optimization.
Performance & Optimization: Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement technical improvements to handle production constraints and traffic spikes.
Frontend Collaboration: Contribute to front-end development using modern frameworks (Vue.js or equivalent) to ensure seamless full-stack integration.
Agile Collaboration: Work closely with product and ops teams in an agile environment to ship features iteratively and reliably.
Prompt Engineering: Apply prompt engineering techniques to integrate AI capabilities into product features and internal workflows.
Candidate profile:
Experience: 2+ years in fullstack or backend development, with a track record of shipping production-grade code.
Stack: Proficiency in a modern backend and frontend stack (Node.js, PHP, Vue.js, etc.).
Standards: High standards in security, documentation, and testing practices.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical ability to break down and simplify complex technical challenges.
Soft skills: Resilience under pressure, excellent communication, and a collaborative team mindset.
Nice to have: Experience with Linux, DevOps, or cloud environments, and contributions to open source projects.
