People across Kazakhstan can order their groceries and have them delivered to their doorstep at lightspeed.\nAs a Wolt Market Area Manager you have ownership of supporting a team of 6-8 Store Managers and Store Team Leads and together running a world-class grocery delivery operation. You are leading everything related to how operations take place and are responsible for finding and setting up targets, optimizing store layout, improving picking and packing costs, ensuring a great user experience and providing leadership to a team of store leaders and grocery associates. Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your operation.\nIn this role, you’ll get a lot of help and support on the way, but are also expected to be an amazing independent manager with an exceptional ability to execute every single day.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nResponsible for the end to end store operations, from fulfillment to delivery in a group of our stores.\nFocus on the continuous improvement of our operations. Key focus areas include: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.\nMaintaining an ambitious and motivated team is one of your main responsibilities, while you also hire and train new store leaders.\nProvide day to day leadership and guidance to store leaders and associates to optimize store operations and guarantee operational excellence.\nDrive the creation of shift schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other change initiatives to support and enable store leaders to meet and exceed business targets.\nReview the demand forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to meet the overall store/country objectives.\nDevelop optimal store operations in your country together with the Operations Manager and other members of your team. Examples of your areas of responsibility could be workforce management, people compliance, collaboration with inventory and commercial teams, product initiatives and feedback. \nOur humble expectations \nOperations management experience in retail, distribution or platform economy environments.\nGreat analytical skills.
