So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.\nWe are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build and evolve our new Common case-management system, powering support-case handling across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.\nYou will own significant end-to-end initiatives across backend services and agent-facing tools: case lifecycle, routing and assignment, queue management, case evidence and history, and migration from legacy systems. This is a hands-on product engineering role for someone who can turn ambiguous customer and operational problems into durable technical solutions.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead one or more project-level Case Management initiatives from discovery and design through rollout, measurement, and operational ownership.\nBuild scalable backend services and React-based internal tools used by support operators and administrators.\nDesign reliable case-management capabilities, including case creation, routing, assignment, transfers, audit history, notes, attachments, and queue-management workflows.\nHelp deliver feature parity with legacy platforms while safely migrating traffic across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.\nMake and own technical decisions within your scope; write project-level design documents, identify dependencies and risks, and break work into parallelizable delivery plans.\nPartner closely with Product, Operations, Support, Data, and other engineering teams to define the right customer problems and improve the roadmap.\nRaise the quality bar through thoughtful design reviews, observability, testing, incident response, documentation, and reusable patterns.\nMentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and constructive feedback.\nMust-have qualifications\nStrong full-stack engineering experience, including production React and TypeScript experience.\nStrong backend engineering experience, including designing and operating backend services, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and data models at meaningful scale.\nDemonstrated ownership of complex, customer-facing or operations-critical projects from technical design through production rollout.\nHands-on experience using AI development tools to improve engineering productivity, while validating generated output for correctness, security, privacy, maintainability, and reliability.\nStrong product judgment: able to translate ambiguous workflows and user needs into simple, maintainable technical solutions.\nProven ability to collaborate across functions, drive alignment, and communicate trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong software-engineering craft: testing, code review, observability, incident response, security, and operational readiness.\nComfortable working on systems with high correctness and auditability requirements, including traceability of decisions and changes.\nA proactive mentoring mindset and willingness to raise team-wide engineering standards.\nNice-to-have qualifications\nGo experience.\nExperience with migration from legacy systems, gradual rollouts, traffic shadowing, and feature-parity programs.\nExperience building internal tools or operational user interfaces.\nExperience with high-volume, multi-region, or multi-tenant systems.\nWhat success looks like\nDelivers a major Case Management initiative with clear technical ownership, predictable execution, and measurable customer or business impact.\nImproves the Common system’s reliability, usability, and maintainability while enabling safe migration from legacy case-management systems.\nHelps move support traffic onto the Common system without reducing case-resolution quality.\nBuilds solutions that other engineers and operators can confidently reuse and operate.\nActs as a technical leader within the team: unblocks peers, improves engineering decisions, and strengthens cross-functional execution.\n\nOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion\nWe’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities.
