The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening the security, compliance, and operational resilience of enterprise applications. This role is responsible for security and compliance analysis, vulnerability management and remediation, automation of operational and security processes, and ensuring applications meet operational readiness standards.\nThe candidate will also actively support internal and external audits, including SOC 2, PCIDSS, and NIST-based assessments, while partnering with application owners, infrastructure teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across the application landscape.\nKey Responsibilities\nSecurity & Vulnerability Management\nAnalyze application security risks and identify vulnerabilities across the application portfolio.\nCoordinate and drive remediation activities for identified security findings.\nTrack vulnerabilities through their lifecycle and ensure timely closure in accordance with organizational SLAs.\nCollaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement corrective actions.\nReview security scan reports and validate remediation efforts.\nCompliance & Governance\nSupport application compliance initiatives aligned with organizational policies and industry standards.\nParticipate in compliance assessments and audits, including:SOC 2\nPCI DSS\nNIST Framework\nInternal and external regulatory audits\n\nGather, review, and maintain audit evidence and documentation.\nTrack and manage compliance-related action items and remediation plans.\nOperational Readiness & Application Governance\nParticipate in Operational Readiness Review (ORR) checkpoints for applications transitioning into production.\nValidate that applications meet operational, security, monitoring, backup, and support requirements.\nEnsure operational controls and documentation are complete and maintained.\nIdentify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.\nAutomation & Continuous Improvement\nDevelop and maintain automation solutions to improve security, compliance, and operational processes.\nAutomate vulnerability tracking, compliance reporting, monitoring, and operational workflows where possible.\nDrive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.\nContribute to the development of dashboards and reports for management visibility.\nStakeholder Collaboration\nWork closely with Application Owners, Security Teams, Infrastructure Teams, and Audit Partners.\nProvide updates on security posture, compliance status, and remediation progress.\nParticipate in governance meetings and review forums.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n3-4 years of experience in Application Operations, IT Operations, Security Operations, Compliance, or related domains.\nGood understanding of application security concepts and vulnerability management practices.\nExperience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, and NIST.\nFamiliarity with audit processes, controls testing, and evidence collection.\nExperience with scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting, or similar technologies.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nFamiliarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar platforms.\nExperience with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM/GRC platforms.\nUnderstanding of operational risk management and governance processes.\nSecurity-related certifications such as Security+, SSCP, or equivalent are advantageous.\nExposure to DevSecOps and secure application lifecycle practices.\nKey Competencies\nSecurity and Risk Management\nCompliance and Audit Readiness\nVulnerability Assessment & Remediation\nProcess Automation\nOperational Governance\nProblem Solving and Analytical Thinking\nCross-functional Collaboration\nDocumentation and Reporting\nContinuous Improvement Mindset\nSuccess Measures\nThe successful candidate will:\nReduce security vulnerabilities through timely remediation and tracking.\nImprove audit readiness and compliance posture across applications.\nIncrease operational efficiency through automation initiatives.\nEnsure applications successfully pass Operational Readiness Reviews.\nDeliver accurate and timely compliance and security reporting.\nRole Level: Individual Contributor\nFunction: Application Operations (AppOps)\nExperience: 3-4 Years\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\nOur Interview Practices\nTo maintain a fair and genuine hiring process, we kindly ask that all candidates participate in interviews without the assistance of AI tools or external prompts.
