We do our best work together, connecting to create new innovations with impact.\nAbout the role\nThe Digital Experience Group (DXG) is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join its Financial Controlling team.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and supporting accurate financial reporting. You will ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and accounting standards.\nWorking closely with the Senior Controlling Analyst and Financial Analyst, you will contribute to the financial close process, balance sheet integrity, audit support, and continuous process improvements across the finance organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral Ledger Accounting: Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and other accounting transactions to ensure accurate financial records.\nMonth-End and Year-End Close: Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely completion of assigned accounting tasks and reconciliations.\nAccount Reconciliations: Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigate reconciling items, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding differences.\nBalance Sheet Control: Monitor assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring balances are accurate, adequately supported, and compliant with accounting requirements.\nIntercompany Accounting: Support intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliation, confirmations, and resolution of discrepancies with internal stakeholders.\nCompliance & Internal Controls: Follow established accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures while supporting audit and compliance requirements.\nAudit Support: Prepare supporting documentation and respond to requests from internal and external auditors.\nProcess Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and reduce manual activities.\nSystems & Reporting Tools: Utilize SAP, Tagetik, and other finance systems to support accounting activities and reporting requirements.\nQualifications\nBachelor's or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, Financial Accounting, or Record-to-Report processes.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.\nExperience with SAP or other ERP systems.\nExperience performing account reconciliations and month-end close activities.\nStrong Excel skills and attention to detail.\nExperience working in an international or shared service environment is a plus.\nGood communication and stakeholder management skills.\nOur Offer\nRoom for personal development through external, internal training tools and learning and development program #GROW.
