This position will interpret customer requirements, coordinate cross-functional contributors, write and edit response content, and manage proposal timelines through submission. The Proposal Writer will help ensure that responses are compliant, accurate, customer-focused, and aligned with Wolters Kluwer Health solutions and standards. The role will also contribute to the ongoing improvement of proposal processes, templates, content reuse, and reporting across the Health organization.\nResponsibilities:\nProposal Writing and RFP Support.\nWork with Health Research sales and subject matter experts to develop clear, accurate, and compelling proposals for RFPs, tenders, and other formal RFx opportunities.\nSupport Health Research as the primary business area and provide proposal support to Health International across applicable countries and markets.\nCoordinate proposal inputs, timelines, review cycles, approvals, and submissions across Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, and other stakeholders.\nWrite, edit, proofread, and format proposal responses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with customer requirements and internal standards.\nAnalyze solicitation requirements and develop compliant response plans, content outlines, bid calendars, and responsibility matrices.\nMaintain and improve the proposal content library, including standard responses, case studies, credentials, product information, and reusable content.\nTrack proposal activity, deadlines, risks, and outcomes and provide visibility into workload, turnaround times, and quality measures.\nPartner with Sales and business leaders to understand customer needs and translate them into differentiated, customer-focused responses.\nSupport continuous improvement of RFP and tender processes, templates, tools, and content governance across the Health organization.\nProvide practical guidance and knowledge sharing to proposal contributors and help promote consistent proposal best practices across regions.\nJob Qualifications:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.\nExperience:\nAt least 3 years of proposal writing, tender management, RFP response, bid management, or related commercial writing experience.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional European language skills are an advantage.\nExceptional editing, proofreading, and document-quality skills.\nDemonstrated ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into clear, persuasive responses.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, compliant work within tight deadlines. \nStrong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.\nExperience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, and subject matter experts.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.\nExperience with proposal management, content management, or CRM tools is a plus.\nKnowledge of the healthcare, health research, clinical, scientific, or information services environment is a plus.\n#LI-Hybrid\nOur Interview Practices\nTo maintain a fair and genuine hiring process, we kindly ask that all candidates participate in interviews without the assistance of AI tools or external prompts.
