This role partners closely with senior Sales Leaders, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Sales Strategy, Enablement, and other go-to-market stakeholders to identify business opportunities, define program strategies, and execute initiatives that deliver measurable commercial outcomes. As a strategic leader, the Sales Programs Associate Director oversees a portfolio of sales growth initiatives, establishes program governance, and drives adoption across multiple regions, segments, or business units. The role requires balancing strategic planning with operational execution, ensuring programs are aligned to organizational priorities and deliver meaningful business impact. The successful candidate demonstrates expertise in sales performance management, pipeline generation, program leadership, and cross-functional influence. This individual serves as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and is responsible for identifying innovative approaches to improve seller effectiveness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nSales Program Strategy and Leadership\nDevelop and execute sales program strategies that drive pipeline creation, accelerate deal progression, and improve revenue performance.\nPartner with senior Sales Leaders to identify business priorities, performance gaps, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.\nEstablish program objectives, success metrics, governance structures, communication plans, and operating rhythms.\nLead a portfolio of sales programs across multiple regions, business units, products, or customer segments.\nTranslate strategic business goals into scalable sales plays and actionable field initiatives.\nEnsure alignment between sales programs and broader commercial, revenue, and go-to-market strategies.\nRevenue Growth and Pipeline Management\nLead analysis of pipeline health, sales productivity, conversion trends, territory performance, and growth opportunities.\nDevelop targeted initiatives focused on pipeline generation, account penetration, customer expansion, and opportunity acceleration.\nOwn the measurement of program performance against pipeline generated and influenced, opportunity progression, conversion, ACV, win rate, seller adoption and productivity outcomes.\nAssess overall business and pipeline health, lead root-cause analysis of performance gaps, and partner with Sales Leadership to define recovery strategies and prioritise the highest-impact growth opportunities.\nSales Leadership Partnership\nServe as a trusted advisor to regional and senior sales leadership teams.\nParticipate in business reviews, forecasting discussions, and strategic planning sessions.\nRecommend sales motions, growth plays, account targeting strategies, and performance improvement initiatives.\nSupport annual and quarterly planning processes by identifying strategic pipeline-generation priorities.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nPartner closely with Sales Strategy, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Business Development, Enablement, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.\nEnsure coordinated execution of sales and marketing initiatives.\nLead cross-functional teams responsible for program development, implementation, and measurement.\nPromote alignment across functions to improve commercial execution and customer outcomes.\nScale successful programs and best practices across the organization.\nGovernance, Execution Excellence, and Continuous Improvement\nEstablish governance frameworks to ensure accountability, transparency, and effective execution.\nDefine stakeholder ownership, timelines, milestones, reporting requirements, and escalation processes.\nOversee program adoption, seller engagement, and change management activities.\nEvaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve execution and business impact.\nDrive a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, innovation, and operational excellence.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, mentor, and develop Sales Programs Managers, Analysts, and project teams.\nProvide coaching and strategic direction to ensure high-quality program execution.\nFoster collaboration, accountability, and professional development across the function.\nBuild organizational capabilities and scalable program management practices.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree required.\nExperience\nExpertise in Sales Programs, Sales Strategy, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Development, Demand Generation, Field Marketing or Sales Enablement.\nProven experience designing and leading strategic sales programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.\nDemonstrated ability to influence senior sales leaders and executive stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of B2B sales processes, go-to-market strategy, and revenue generation.\nExperience with Salesforce, Power BI, CRM analytics platforms, and sales technology ecosystems.\nJoin us at Wolters Kluwer and be part of a global technology company that helps organizations navigate complex financial, risk, and regulatory challenges.
