This role develops sales plans, internal and external communications, relationships, sales and service force, product mix, forecast, and the overall strategy to maintain and enhance the brand and maintain growth at the retail level. This individual must be based east of Denver and within 60 miles of a major airport.\nPrimary Duties:\nDelivers strategic brand sales goals.\n\nCreates a customized business model for each account.\n\nSelects product mix by account.\n\nPlans model stocks, turn, gross margin, markdowns, etc. and accountable sales goals, by account.\n\nManage retailer sales, inventory and profitability to help maximize both of our businesses.\n\nManage account order base to insure timely deliveries.\n\nManages replenishment programs for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Accounts.\n\nForecasts product and role-up by account.\n\nPlaces and executes all marketing at retail, such as: retail presence, Point of Purchase (P.O.P.), promotional events, collateral pieces, etc. Maintains excellent senior relationship with key accounts.\n\nInitiates, develops and sells new key accounts in keeping with the divisions distribution strategies.\n\nMaintains a consistent frequency of in-store visitation to ensure execution of brand presence, visual roll-out/events, driving turn and door volume.\n\nPerforming duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.\n\nPerforming other duties as required/assigned by manager.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:\nBachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.\n\n7+ years of Sales experience and 3 years of Key Account Management experience with demonstrated sales skills\n\nApparel experience required.\n\nExtremely motivated, a self-starter and able to work effectively in a team environment and independently; manage time and work against business deadlines.\n\nMust know how to service all sales aspects of a national footwear brand in department stores.\n\nMust possess strategic planning and be a results oriented person\n\nUnderstanding of retailer’s financial metrics - sales, inventory, turn, gross margin dollars\n\nHigh level of energy, initiative, and professionalism\n\nMust be proficient on MS Office (word, excel, power-point)\n\nWorking Conditions:\nNormal office environment.
