This role partners with Planning, IT, Master Data, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable dashboards, reporting solutions, actionable insights, and planning system enhancements. The Senior Analyst ensures reporting and tools are accurate, consistent, well-documented, and adopted by users, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and decision support across demand, supply, inventory, and executive planning processes.\nPrimary Duties:\nPartner with planners, business stakeholders, IT, and Master Data teams to identify reporting requirements, system enhancements, and process improvement opportunities.\n\nWorks with Enterprise Semantic Models to build reports and dashboards to support data driven decision making.\n\nAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.\n\nServe as the business owner for planning reporting solutions and analytical tools, ensuring ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and user adoption.\n\nLead user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and deployment activities for planning tool enhancements and process changes.\n\nDrive data quality investigations and root cause analysis, partnering with IT and Master Data teams to resolve issues impacting planning performance and reporting.\n\nDevelop and maintain reporting documentation, definitions, and training materials.\n\nEscalate risks identified in reports and dashboards to appropriate leaders\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:\nBachelor’s degree with an MBA or advanced degree preferred but not a requirement\n\nExperience in footwear/apparel industry preferred but not a requirement\n\nStrong background in Planning Systems and transactional ERPs e.g. SAP\n\nKnowledge and experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP), MRP and ERP systems inventory control, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning and analytics\n\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau required; experience with Python, SQL, or other data transformation tools preferred.\n\nCompetencies Needed:\nStrong communication skills, written and verbal\n\nAdvanced critical thinking and problem solving, troubleshooting\n\nAbility to work in high pressure situations\n\nAbility to set and meet deadlines\n\nReporting and data visualization skills\n\nHighly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities\n\nAbility to work cross-functionally with both business and technical teams to develop strong working relationships and translate business requirements.\n\nCross cultural sensitivity and awareness as the incumbent will deal with global teams.\n\nSpecific tools\nProficient with Microsoft office - specifically Excel & PowerPoint. Fabric Planning and Copilot Premium preferred.\n\nExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms\n\nFamiliarity with planning systems (O9, Blue Yonder or similar platforms) preferred, and ERP systems\n\nExperience with data analysis and transformation tools preferred\n\nSystems proficiency is a must.\n\nWorking Conditions:\nRockford, Michigan, USA. Normal office environment.
