Coordinating simultaneous projects, partnership with all levels of the organization, and independent thinking are all necessary for success. General responsibilities will include strategic planning, high level project definition, detailed project planning, progress tracking (including budgets), problem resolution and project implementation. \nPrimary Duties\nCoordinates and actively participates in all aspects of project leadership, including scope and requirements definition, solution evaluation, vendor selection, resource planning, development of milestone schedules and key decision points, and communication planning and execution.\nLeads entire projects and is accountable on a per-project basis to Project Sponsors, Business Owners, or other Senior Leadership Team members.\nFunctions as a strategic consultant on projects, performs contingency planning, and advises project stakeholders on observed risks, issues, or concerns.\nManages all aspects of progress tracking, including detailed project plans, scope management, risk and issue identification and resolution, project budget oversight, and status reporting.\nLeverages proven methods, processes, templates, and techniques to complete tasks.\nProvides mentorship to corporate stakeholders on project management methods and practices.\nSupports the continuous improvement of Solution Delivery practices by identifying and implementing opportunities to strengthen project management standards, governance, tools, templates, reporting, and ways of working, while promoting consistency and adoption across project teams.\nMaintains technical and business proficiency through formal education and work assignments.\nPerforms duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.\nPerforms other duties as required or assigned by the manager.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required\nBachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in a business discipline, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; MBA is a plus.\nEight or more years of project management experience, including multidisciplinary project leadership.\nIT project management experience is strongly preferred.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.\nAbility to lead others in formal and informal structures, including highly matrixed environments, and effectively manage upward.\nAbility to operate as part of a team.\nStrong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.\nAbility to perform effectively in a rapidly changing environment.\nWorking Conditions\nNormal office environment.
