At home or in the office, or any mix you like \nWorking for strong brands and clients we believe in \n30 days vacation per year \nUrban Sports Club \nNice people in welcoming teams \nWhat you can expect\nArchitecture & Platform Design \nDesign cloud architectures for digital products, data platforms, and AI-driven solutions on GCP, AWS or Azure\nDefine end-to-end system architecture across data, services, and AI workflows \nEnsure scalability, maintainability, and long-term viability of architectural decisions\nCreate architecture documentation and diagrams outlining key decisions and solutions to technical challenges \nIntegration & System Landscape \nDefine interfaces, integration patterns, and system interactions \nAssess existing enterprise landscapes and design integration strategies (e.g. SAP, CDP, CMS, DAM) \nConnect data sources, AI models, and content systems into a coherent architecture\nScalability, Governance & Collaboration \nDefine security concepts, operating models, and architectural guardrails \nMake informed decisions on compute, storage, messaging, identity, observability, and deployment \nWork closely with engineering, security, and business teams to establish a viable target architecture \nBalance MVP thinking with long-term platform scalability \nHelp teams reduce complexity and choose the right technical setup\nContribute to RFPs, pitches, and the development of visionary architecture concepts\nEvaluate emerging technologies, recommend suitable adoption strategies for customer projects and suggest improvements on cost, performance, and maintainability\nWhat we'd love to see\nSeveral years of experience in system architecture (cloud, data, APIs)\nProven experience as a Solution Architect or in a comparable technical leadership role\nStrong expertise in GCP and AWS\nDeep understanding of platform design and modular architectures\nExperience integrating complex enterprise systems\nSolid knowledge of security best practices, data modeling, and system performance optimization\nHands-on experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, IaC with Terraform or ARM)\nAbility to communicate technical decisions clearly and effectively\nConfident in client-facing settings, with the ability to engage and advise senior stakeholders (e.g. CTOs)\nExperience in Buy vs. Build decisions\nVery good German and English language levels (C1+)\nWork permit for Germany and at least one year of work onsite in Germany\nYour impact\nYou’ll be the architectural bridge between creativity and computation, enabling WongDoody’s teams to design and deliver intelligent, modular, and headless experiences that scale.
